Through the ups and downs, the tears and laughter, we do the best that we can, and it’s good enough for the kids and spouses or your significant other.

This Mother’s Day is bittersweet for me. I lost my mother to Alzheimer’s Disease and other illnesses on July 15th, 2024. We loved getting dressed up for our special day and going out to eat! My mama always said I had good taste. I’m committed to living up to what my mom always knew about me. This post will be a tribute to my mother Lee Ethel Childs.

I used the same crescent shape, affordable handbag as in style one. Those purses are a great deal. I’m grabbing one for myself and one for my teenage daughter!

The color pink may be the most worn color on Mother’s Day so I chose the midi bodycon floral dress in the color bi roseflower. It’s a cute pencil-style dress that has many colors and print variations. After Mother’s Day, you can wear it to church, brunch, and work! Available in sizes small to double extra large.

My heel choice is a lace-up open-toe chunky heel in black by Leticia. A fun shoe for a spectacular day and a spectacular mom! Avaialble in sizes 6-11. Sorry ladies, no half sizes. The colors are: fuchsia, nude, red, royal blue, and white. The handbag is the same crescent shape as in the previous styles.

It seemed appropriate to find a jewelry set flower theme. The black rose camellia flower jewelry set by Ailuor. A beautiful cubic zirconia necklace and earring set. Eco-friendly rhodium silver plated for special occasions like Mother’s Day.

I consider this dress a bohemian style, a more carefree look for Mother’s Day. It’s simple but eye-catching with its plunge neckline and long flowy hemline.
