Mother’s Day Style Guide: Two Trendy Looks To Celebrate

Every day is a time for self-care and self-indulgence, but Mother’s Day is for going all out and making yourself happy. Each look is perfect for a brunch or dinner, casual or fancy. A simple change of shoes will take care of that. I have two looks that will have you feeling and looking your best.

A Ray Of Sunshine

One of the most popular colors to wear for spring and summer is yellow. I knew when I came across this ruffled A-line sundress with a ruched bodice that it screamed summertime fun! A high-waist sundress with good stretch and flowy material. The sizes available are: xs-xlg.

The clear heel sandal can be worn with practically anything and complements the sundress well. They’re available in 6 different colors with sizes ranging from 6 to 11, including some half sizes. Faux-leather in a 4.3-inch heel.

I chose a sleek design for the handbag. The hobo underarm handbag is in brown. Reasonably priced with over 10 colors to choose from.

We needed some bling, so I chose the 18K gold-plated cubic zirconia necklace with an adjustable chain for style 2. The gold-plated 3mm cubic zirconia tennis bracelet pairs nicely with the necklace.

The earrings add the finishing touch to our two styles. The Milla oval hoop earrings in 14K gold-plated are classy and elegant. I have three pairs! Cubic zirconia diamond drops are every girl’s best friend. A beautiful addition to style 2

This Mother’s Day is bittersweet for me. I lost my mother to Alzheimer’s Disease and other illnesses on July 15th, 2024. We loved getting dressed up for our special day and going out to eat! My mama always said I had good taste. I’m committed to living up to what my mom always knew about me. This post will be a tribute to my mother Lee Ethel Childs.
