On your mark, get set, and go add some sparkle to your holiday wardrobe this season. Are we ready to have fun with our closets yet? I hope the answer is yes because I have a holiday fashion look that you may like. The holidays are approaching quickly but before the hustle and bustle is upon us, let’s exhale and put these next three months into perspective. The end of the year is a time for reflection. You should put emphasis on surrounding yourself with family, friends, and plenty of laughter. When you smile or laugh, there’s a natural sparkle that comes across your face. The only real dilemma, besides our dinner menu is carving out time to find an affordable, stylish, and comfortable outfit.
The Holiday Edition-Sparkle
That’s right! It’s the holiday edition and it’s time to sparkle. When you think of sparkle what comes to mind? Maybe sequins? I know for some folks that may be overkill but I’ve never met a sequin I didn’t like. For a more subtle look, my suggestion is metallic. It’s a perfect alternative to sequins, with a hint of shimmer. In this post, I’m wearing a gold metallic bodysuit and faux leather high-waist leggings The textures match for a soft look, yet the leggings are edgy creating a great contrast.
My Holiday Shoes
For this shoot, I’m wearing my holiday shoes. One of my favorite brands for shoes, Jessica Simpson. It’s a 4 1/4 inch heel, black faux suede mule with two cross straps. It’s a classy heel and a must for your shoe collection. I think we’re off to a great start so let the holidays begin! Until next time, take care of you.
