Living In The Moment
The dust has settled and my books are published. I’m now just able to live in the moment and take it all in. There’s so much more to do as far as the marketing aspect and perfecting my craft. Tooting my own horn, it’s okay to do so. It’s been a long time coming. The rat race can wait for a minute. As I approach another birthday, the timing of my accomplishment is even more special to me. Although I’m present in the moment, I can’t help but to reflect about the beginning of this process. Through blood, sweat, and tears I managed to build my own website. Who would have imagined it? I didn’t know I had it in me, this 5’3″ frame. Words can’t express, my gratitude towards the many youtubers that I spent many evenings with on how to format a book.
Surprise!
My family didn’t have a clue in the beginning as to what I was doing. I surely created a moment for them. Their support was never a question for me but I decided to keep it a secret until near the end. The expressions on their faces when they found out was priceless. I live for that kind of stuff. Before starting my next project, I’m going to take time to enjoy family and friends in this 100 degree weather. That’s me living in the hot moment.
