Who’s guilty of not living in the moment? I’ll take a pause from my writing so I can raise my right hand. Going through the daily grind of life, I subsequently forget to exhale. Like most women, we wear many hats and take on that “superwoman” title. Before you know it, a week has gone by and it’s just a blur. Life has a funny way of confirming what you already know to be true. My daughter and I went shopping the day after I wrote this in my notebook. She had no idea what my topic was for this post. I’m a fast walker so I turned around and asked her why she was walking so slow. “KJ” our nickname for her, looked at me and said, “I’m enjoying the moment.” It almost brought me to tears. I held my composure and smiled at my daughter. I was hesitant to write about this subject until that special moment occurred.

A Busy Bee Living In The Moment

As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur I’m a busy bee. To all the working moms including stay-at-home moms look at the glass as half full with a few ice cubes as your special moments. We can’t turn back the hands of time but we can be present and cherish the simple things in life. The fact that I’m able to share my love for writing is a moment that I embrace each time I hit the publish button. When it comes to stilettos, clothes, and sales…well that’s my little piece of heaven. Inhale…now exhale.

I’m wearing Fashion Effect Store’s honey mustard dress with faux buttons aligning the center. A perfect dress for summertime! At the time of this writing, this particular dress is sold out but there are other dress styles in this mustard color.

This shoe comes in 8 colors and the brand name is Forever Link, retail price $34.99. A shoe with personality and an affordable price. Well ladies, I’m off to a family mini-vacation.
