Stylish Trendy Boots

I was so excited to see these shoes online and on sale, immediately thinking that I could make a statement with these stylish trendy boots. Just like a kid in a toy store, I was not taking my eyes off those stilettos. Typically, the goal is to stay away from trends. Particular styles/trends will resurface after a few years or never go out of style. That’s the shoe I need. The goal was to make a statement but sometimes that can and will backfire on you. I remember attending my first wedding at the age of around 18. This was an extravaganza for me even though I was only a guest. It’s so funny and embarrassing at the same time because I set out to make a statement. I knew absolutely nothing about the rules of etiquette pertaining to weddings. To this very day, I have questions for my Mom and Aunt who enabled me to overshadow the bride. Surprisingly, I can’t remember the shoes I wore but the dress is unforgettable. The dress at fault was a pale peach color, fishtailed, and sequinned. It only got worse because of the faux fur wrap that I borrowed from my Aunt. Lord have mercy! I really stole the limelight but not on purpose. It’s safe to say, this recent choice I’ve made won’t step on anyone’s toes.

Faux All The Way Boots

Introducing the latest addition to my stiletto collection, faux all the way Nasty Gal’s “Snake Away Mesh Bootie.”    As of this writing, available sizes are: 6,7, and 8. I’m extremely pleased and they are so comfortable to my surprise.

Subtle Look

I put together a more subtle look for an outfit that would contrast the boots. Fashionnova’s “Little White Lies Top.”   What a beautiful ivory top. Last but not least, Love Culture’s “High Rise Solid Skirt” An above the knee taupe skirt, simple yet it makes a statement. Ladies go ahead and make a statement and create your fashion vision.
