My New Crush

I hate to admit it but my new crush was made just for me. How many of you ladies can remember your first crush? The first boy that won my heart was in second grade. His name was Terrance. He had the cutest smile and afro. Sadly, I don’t think he ever noticed me unless we were playing kickball at recess. Oh believe me, I tried to get his attention while making a fool of myself. When it was my turn to kick the ball, I would run towards it like a raging bull. Apparently, I thought boys liked girls that exhibited amazing strength. That didn’t work out too well for me because I missed the entire ball every time. Then the unthinkable happened, he transferred to another school before 4th grade started. In high school, I managed to have several crushes. There was Tony, Jesse, Michael, and Michael. One crush for each year. Almost married the last one but that’s a whole other story. Fast forward to today, my celebrity crush is none other than Idris Elba…sexual chocolate. It’s okay ladies, we can share him. Speaking of crushes, I believe the most important love of all is self-love. It’s the foundation for growth and harmony. Do you know what else I have love for? My guilty pleasure…stilettos.
